Conceptually approved with the following conditions:
  • remove the monument sign.
  • height of the wall sign needs to be reduced
  • restudy the corner of the building at East 130th and Buckeye so that it fits better into the neighborhood. Suggestion to angle the corner of the building.
  • consider signage on the east 130th side or Buckeye at the corner.

The committee also suggested that the applicant check with Traffic Dept. to make sure truck access is allowed on East 130th.  Also, make sure that there is enough room for a turning radius coming from Drexmore to East 130th.

  • The double sided projecting sign should be spruced up by adding a frame or a bracket so that it looks like it was intended to be a part of the building design.  
  • The sign should also be dropped so that it is centered on the sign band. 
  • Plans need to be submitted for the pole lights as well.
